Housekeeping and Security
The Contractor is responsible for cleanliness, order and hygiene at the worksite. Unless otherwise agreed, the Contractor is responsible for ensuring the restoration of the worksite to a condition that is free from risk to health and safety at the completion of the contract. The Contractor is required to remove all rubbish and waste material from the MTA premises, unless otherwise specified by the Site Contact.
Paints, oil, greases, thinners, solvents etc must not be flushed or washed down any drain or placed in dump masters. Substances must be removed from site or contact the EHS Manager for further information. Recycling bins are available for cardboard, paper, fluoro tubes and batteries. Your Site Contact will inform you where these items can be recycled.
Contractors are responsible for security arrangements in relation to personal items, plant, tools, equipment and materials required on site during the works.
The Company reserves the right to appoint a representative to inspect vehicles, bags and other receptacles. Unauthorised removal of company property is prohibited.
